CHRISTCHURCH APPEAL BOARD.

CHRISTCHURCH, 31st May. Mr. H. J. Knight, Dominion secretary and organiser of White Star Tourist Services, Ltd., of Chrjstchurch, has been elected by the bus proprietors in No. 10 motor-omnibus district as their nominee for the Transport Appeal Board, -which is to be set up wider the new bus regulations. The appointment is in the hands of the Governor-General. Mr. C. V. Agar, chairman of the Bylaws Committee of the City Council, has been nominated as the representative of local authorities in the district on the , board.
