In the doubles, Rene Lacoste and Jacques Brugnon (France) beat Richards and H. Kinsey (U.S.A.), 7-5, 8-6. In the mixed doubles Richards and Miss Helen Wills (U.S.A.) beat Lacoste and Mile. Bourgeois (France), 6-4, 6-3; Howard Kinsey and Miss E. Ryan (U.S.A.) beat Brugnon and Mile, de Besnerais (France), 9-7, 7-5. Richards (U.S.A.) beat Lacoste (France), 7-5, 4-6, 8-6. - Kinsey (U.S.A.) beat Feret (France), 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. Mrs. Jessup (U.S.A.) boat Madame Descleres (France), 6-1, 2-6, 8-6. Misses Elizabeth Ryan and Mary ,K. Browne (U.S.A.) beat Miles. Cousin and Charnelct (France), 6-1, 6-2. America won the contests by eight matches to 3.
