The "Daily Mail's political correspondent says the Asquithian meetings at the week-end took a hostile view of Mr. Lloyd George's attitude, and definitely admitted that the patched-up reunion, under the stress of the Protection Election in 1923, had been a failure, and should be ended without delay.
