MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Cases at the Magistrate's Court yesterday were heard by Mr. E. Page, S.M. "Yesterday, when arrested, this man had been drinking methylated spirits," said Sub-Inspector Harvey, when John Daniel Casey (38), admitted a ninth offence of drunkenness within six months.. Casey was fined £5, in default fourteen days' imprisonment. i Margaret Collins, who appeared for a second breach of her prohibition order, was fined £1. She was convicted and discharged for drunkenness. John Marshall Savidge pleaded guilty to a fifth breach of his prohibition order, and was fined £3, in default seven days' imprisonment. He was fined' £1, in default three days' imprisonment, for a third offence of drunkenness. , , Donald Henry Campbell was convicted and discharged for a second offence of drunkenness.
