Two men, Mr. James Oddy and Mr. Eeg. Terry, had their arms broken at Lincoln on Sunday, through their engines backfiring whilo they were cranking their cars, states a Press Association message from Christclmrch. Lr.at month there were only two bankruptcies in the Wellington district, as against four in. May last year. So far this year ten petitions in bankruptcy have been filed, as against thirteen for the corresponding period last year.
