WINTER SHOW PREPARATIONS
From present indications the forthcoming Show and Industrial Exhibition to be held in Wellington from 10th to 24th July will prove most successful. The secretary has been inundated with applications for space—the plan of which is now ready— and the variety and quality of this year's exhibits should constitute a record as far as Wellington Shows are concerned. The association is making special efforts to make the Stock Show an outstanding success, and in this connection arrangements are being completed whereby a series of lectures dealing with all classes of stock will be delivered. This phase of the Stock Show will prove of special interest to the hundreds of visitors attending the National Dairy Association's Conference on 13th July. The Government is lending its valued collaboration, in that several Departments will be giving special displays. All the "fun of the fair" will be found in the very complete amusement section being provided. The Show Association is launching a big campaign for members, with a view to strengthening its finances, to hasten the securing of permanent Show buildings.
