THE LEAGUE DISPUTE
SUSPENSION ORDER ACCEPTED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, 21st May. The council of the New Zealand Bugby League considered a letter from the Sydenham Club protesting against the council's suspension of Mr. W. S. Moyle, who wrote that the question of his suspension was one for the Canterbury League, which had decided by a large majority that it would not accept the decision of the council. After considerable discussion it was docided that, following the opinion of the delegates at the two special meetings held at Auckland and one special meeting held in Wellington, the Canterbury League should give effect to the instructions of the New Zealand League. The resolution also stated that after the Canterbury League had acted in a constitutional manner it would be compotent for it to apply to the council for the lifting of the suspension. The motion was carried by 6 votes to 4.
