LEAGUE OF NATIONS UNION

The usual meeting of the League of Nations .Union Council (Wellington branch) was lield on Thursday evening, in one of the rooms of St. John's Church. In the absence of the president. Dr. Gibb, through indisposition, the chair was occupied by Mr. R. H. Hooper. Several apologies were received tor unavoidable absence. It was reported by the delegates that the Dominion Council had decided not to renew the appointment of the Dominion organiser, but to make other arrangements according to the requirements of the various districts. A report was received with reference to the appointment of Mr. W. Nash as agent in New Zealand for League of Nations literature, and in the course of a few weeks catalogues and specimen copies would be available.
