WELLINGTON AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB

In the history of amateur athletic sport in New Zealand the Wellington A.A. Club claims 'a very prominent place. It has been in existence for thirty-eight years, and during that long period its activities have in no small degree accounted for the excellent progress made by the' sport. Some of those enthusiasts who helped tho club through its years of infancy are still keenly interested in amateur athletics, and it is the desire of tho present-day officials to bring the old-time members, as well as all others who have been interested in the club,, into closer touch with the younger members who are keeping the club's banner flying. To this end a function is being held on Saturday evening.
