J. C. WILLIAMSON VAUDEVILLE.

The latest company of International Vaudeville stars will commence its' Wellington. season at the Grand Opera House this evening. This brilliant company has just finished a record season in Auckland playing to1 packed houses at every performance. Some of the acts are truly astonishing. The bill is headed by Niobe, the mermaid, in her world-famed water act. Not only is her act amazing', but also it is stated to be scientifically interesting. The famous cockatoo act, presented by Madame Harmston, is a unique feature, in which a stage crowded with gny plumage birds of every size and colour perform astonishing tricks. Described as "the dare-devil comedian on wheels," Walter Nilsson thrills everybody, ospocially the orchestra, by his feats at the top of a lofty unicycle. Rupert Hazell. a clever London comedian, and his dainty partner, Elsie Day, present a budget of nonsense and harmony of a highly original and diverting kind. Dainty Dorothy Browne, of the Sydney and Melbourne Tivolis, will play classic and jazz on her piano-accordion. Tho .Flemings, two magnificent specimens of muscular manhood, give an original entertainment called "Graeco-Roman Creations in Sculpture." Mile. Odctto Delage, the vivacious French Apache violinist, and the Welsh Rarebit and his dainty partner, Jones and Raine, present up-to-the-minute numbers, while Francois the Globe Trotter gives a remarkable series of equilibristic feats on a giant ball. The box plans are at The Bristol, where big booking is being recorded.
