WADESTOWN
About twenty .householders attended the meeting at Wadestown, Mr. A. Parlane presided. ;■■ "The remit favouring free school stationery and a motion of appreciation of the work of the headmaster and staff were earned. v It was decided to approach the City Council with a request to form a footpath in Wells street adjacent to the school. The following committee was elected:— Messrs. J. K. Salt, E. Cooke, A. Parlane, T. Jones, A. E. Alloway, E. A. Recs, and H. Allen, Mr. Parlane is chairman and' Mr. Cooke secretary.
