to see the kindergarten educator, under the supervision of Miss Lake, at work. The educator-has been approved by the Education Department., and.was very highly, spoken of. '■-. ■ . Mr. Nicholls. .stated that the school now had .its full quota of teachers. A tribute was passed to Mr. S. E. Lambert for his services as auditor, and a resolution was carried thanking the City Council for the choice of .library books it made available for the children. . Mr. Nicholls expressed his appreciation of the services given by the outgoing committee and of the good work done by Miss Lake in the training of tjio children for the carnival. .'-. . '.■.'■' A vote of thanks was accorded the outgoing committee. '«.''■■' .Several people spoke of the dangerous condition of a portion of the school grounds, contending that a bad bankshould be made safe at once. ■ The new committee was elected as follows^ —Messrs. E. D. Good, H. E. Guise, A. Newman, C. H. -Nieholls,'W. Platt, W. B. Willis, and Captain "F. A. Maeinrloc. ' The chairman of the meeting, Councillor J. Aston, urged all.parents in the district to'send their children to the school. There were' indications thai" all parents werenot doing this.
