ISLAND BAY CARNIVAL

The Island Bay Carnival, which has. had a most successful r.un, will close t- -night. An . extra effort is bping made to provide a good time for the public, and a blight evening's entertainment is anticipated. There a ill be the usual dancing and confetti battles. The shingled and bobbed hair contest is being held this afternoon. The side-shows and stalls will all be in full swing. The committee expects a record attendance, and'is fully prepared to meet the demand of large numbers.
