MOTHER SUPERIOR'S GOLDEN JUBILEE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, This Day. The 'golden .jubilee of the Mother Superior, Mother M. Gertrude Banahan, of the Brigidinc Convent, has been celebrated during the past few days. The Eight Rev. Monsijnor M'Kenna (Mastcrton), the .Rev. Father M. Cashman, parish priest, and twenty-three nuns and priests have taken part. The Mother Superior was presented with an address, and with fifty gold pieces. The visiting nuns were taken for motor drives, and a school eijtertainment was also held.
