"FOR SALE"
WINDING UP OF THE EXHIBITION
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
DUNEDIN, Bth April.
Favoured by beautiful summer-like weather, the Exhibition continues to enjoy the patronage of big crowds of holiday-makers. Tuesday's attendance, following on Monday's new record, was 25,272. Yesterday it reached 22,124, and to-day it looks as if it will not fall far short of that figure.
This week's school party consists of over 600 from, the Greymouth, Kurow, and various Southland schools. All these parties and local parties under teachers are admitted free. The concession has evidently been greatly appreciated, as since the decision to admit organised parties of school children free, 61,294 have visited the Exhibition in this way.
A sign of the near approach.of the end of the Exhibition, which will close on Ist May, is the appearance of sale tickets on numerous displays. Many valuable exhibits in the British and New Zealand Government courts are so marked.
