Briand was holding a conference with Moroccan peace experts news was roceived that Abd-el-Krim had attacked two tribes who had recently submitted to the French, advancing from 12 to 15 miles. ' It is reported that Krim is utilising the Moroccan Sultan's proposed visit to Paris as propaganda, and is invoking the Koran law prohibiting the Sultan's , doparturo from Morocco.
