SCOUT AND CUB RALLY

The Boy Scouts and Wolf Cubs, to the number of 1300, will be seen next Saturday at work and at play on the Basin Reserve. This gathering will be bigger than that held at Dunedin recently, when 1100 Scouts and Cubs attended from all; parts of New Zealand. The programme will include some of the items seen at the Dunedin Jamboree, and also many others. St. Augustine's (Petone) Troop will build a flag pole on the lines of the one which they put up at Dunedin, and which has been admired by Scouts from all parts. The Sea Scouts will repeat their display of life-saving by rocket and line. It is hoped the public will attend in large numbers.
