POOR DEMAND FOR TALLOW
The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office, under date 31st March:—
"The demand for tallow Is poor. Current quotations: Good mutton 1, 43a 8d to 44s per cwt; good beef, 41s Gd to 41s 9d per- cwt; good mixed, 41s Gd per'cwt; gut, 35s to 38s per CWt." i
