BIG AMERICAN MEETING.

The present intention of the New Zealand A.A. Council is that Rose should proceed to England, via Canada, but in view of the possibility of Nurmi being a competitor at the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia the plans may be amended to provide for Rose making a.stay in America. The A.A. TJnion of America is anxious that overseas athletes should participate in the big meeting, and it-is understood that the desire has been expressed that Rose should be a competitor.
