NATIONAL REPERTORY SOCIETY

The newly-formed National Repertory Society met last evening, when much enthusiasm was shown. Mr. Baldwin, in the absence of Mr. D. M. Findlay. presided. Mr. William. M. Page, the honorary secretary, read the committee's report, which included a very satisfactory suggestion regarding a fomv dation members' and ordinary subscribers fund. An interesting discussion evolved several directions and suggestions to the committee, which is now constituted as follows:—President, Mr. D. M. Findlay; lion, secretary. Mr. Burden; lion, treasurer. Mr. Facer, Miss Hilda Miles, and Messrs. Page, Baldwin, and Natusch. The rules governing the society were adopted. It was announced that the director. Mr. Leo tlu Chateau, had recommended Mr. Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion" for the society's first production, and that the cast would be announced during the week. Mr. William Beck, the well-known scenic artist, will probably be in charge of the stage settings. -
