AUCKLAND, This Day^ A conference convened by the Mayor o£ Auckland, at which 29 local bodiei were represented, being authorities .having control of roads in the districts from Helensville to Mercer, was held to-day. Twenty-seven voted for a proposal' that the distribution .of^raffie fees should be on a basis of 50, percent, on capital value ,and 50 per cent, on population. It was decided that the apportionment should- be on the IJJ2J census, and the rateable capital value ,at Ist April, 1925.
