"Charley* Aunt," with Syd. Chaplin in the title rqle, will commence 4 t£ ree nights* season to-night at the Artc>aft Theatre, with a special matinee to-mor-row afternoqp. at 2.15 p.m. A splendid cast is seeu in support of Syd. Chaplin. A gazette, travelogue, and comedy complete a fine bill, all to special music by James Haydock, whose entr'acte tor»ig|it will be "La Somnambula," one of the finest numbers he has yet played. On 6tji February six valuable prizes (three for girls and three for boys) will be given, for a free competition, full printed particulars of which will be given at to-morrow's performance. In addition to tt\e competition a thrilling serial, "The Biddle Rider," will be commenced. It is a sensational story, fujl of romance, and amongst the startling feats are shooting. through a rope to save a man dangling at the end of it, and other aa startling and clever feats.
