Members of the executive council pf ■ the Wellington Competitions Society met this week, Mr. H. A. Huggins presiding. .-■.'.. A letter was received from the Town .Clerk, confirming the booking of the Town Hall from 21st August until 11th September. .Mr. Paget Gale,' of Dunedin, was appointed adjudicator in the instruv mental section.- • • •

It was decided that the piano championship be for amateurs only, amateur to mean, one whoso income derived ■ from teaching does not exceed £120 per annum (last year £75).

It was resolved to insert classes for. dancers over 16, viz., toe, character, operatic, and classic dances.
