BRITANNIA THEATRE.
Ben Lyoh. and Mary Astor in the thrill picture, "The Pace that Thrills," is being presented at the Britannia Theatre for the last time to-night. Commencing to-morrow, Kichard Talmadge, the dare-devil of the screen, in "The Speed King," will be the attraction. It is the story of a fictitious kingdom with Talmadge playing a dual role. As King Charles, the beloved ruler of Mandavia, he is abducted and imprisoned by the traitor Rodolf D'Henri, to permit the acquisition of Mandavian territory by a neighbouring country.. As Jimmy Martin, The Speed King," he is induced by false statements and promises to impersonate King Charles. D'Henri's plot is successful until Jimmy falls in love with Princess Margaret of Alvernia, discloses his true identity, and turns his activities toward rescuing the real King and exposing the traitor. The supports include cartoon, scenic, a comedy, and the latest news reel.
