Lord Sufileld, who is 28, was fnu'd £2 and £5 costs for being drunk aud disorderly in the West End during the early hours of 15th December. The police gave evidence that Suffield and a party of his male friends were refused admittance to a night club, upon which there were disorderly scenes, culminating in arrests. Suffield gave evidence that he had attended a bachelor dinner in honour of n friend who was about to bo married on tho following day. He denied that ho was drunk.

A charge of insulting behaviour against the bridegroom-elect, who is a Guardsman, was withdrawn.
