WEIGHT TITLE.

DTTNEDIN, This Day.

At a meet/ng of the Otago Boxing Association, Trowern, sen., writing on behalf of his aon, Reg. Trowern, in reply to the 0.8.A., stated that he would be prepared to meet Les Murray at Dunedin for the lightweight title. It was decided to submit the proposal to Murray, and if possible to arrange a match, to take place at the Exhibition Festival Hall on 17th February.

The Match Committee reported that Charlie Purdy ,was matched to meet Les Murray at Dunedin on 30th January for a prize of £200. Mr. J. Kilmartin was appointed referee.
