The barometer has been unsteady, falling and rising, and a further fall is expected for a depression to the westward. This, at tho present time, doe 3 not show any particular intensity, and moderate to strong novtherlies are, therefore, forecasted, with warm and sultry conditions'. The skies are likely to bo cloudy to overcast at times in most parts of the country, and rain iB probable in the West Coast and Southern districts.
