' CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. In connection with recent alleged burglaries, the police made five arrests yesterday, of Charles Stanley Dell and Frederick Logic, for alleged breaking and entering a shop, and Frederick Augustus Armitage (36), Walter Fraser Shernff Hameiss (33), and Joseph 'Hogan Byrne (49), on two charges. Other qnarges are pending against the last three, and bail was refused them. It is understood that gelignite. and tools were found in the house occupied by these three.
