NELSON, 4th January.
Bishop Taylor-Smith preached at the Cathedral on Sunday morning and in the evening at AH Saints. In the afternoon and 'after the eveninp service he also Rave addresses at the Matvden Church House.
The Caledonian Bports at Motueka on New- Year's Day were largely attended by visitors from all parts of the district arid competitors from Nelson, Blenheim, and the North Island. The Caledonian Society's concert held in the evening was also highly successful.
