STRAND THEATRE.
The final screening of "The Midnight Express" and "Taming the West" takes -place at the Strat* Theatre to-night. Elaine Hammei stein and Hoot Gibson are the stars respectively. An all comedy programme commences to-morrow, the two features being "The Early Bird" with Johnny Hines »» star, and "The Teaser," with Laura la Plant* and.Pat O'Malley heading a fine oast. Johnny Hinei it cast in the role of •, milk driver who climbs over a heap of obstacles to become the moving spirit in an organisation of milk drivers who form their own company to combat the milk trust. "The Teaser' ia a breezy tale of a flappec who becomes enmeshed in a domestic scandal through her flirtation with a married man. Th>3 comedy situations are delicious. There will also be a splendid assortment of supporting pictures.
