SHETLAND SOCIETY.
The annual picnic of the Wellington Shetland Society was held on Boxing Day at Belmont Park. The attendance was Rpod. The members of the committee were on the grounds early, and had everything well organised and the events of the day went oft well and without, a hitch. The children wera exceptionally well catered f,or, a Christinas tree being erected on the grounds. The athletic events were keenly contested. The results were:— Girls' Race, under C—M.
