GRIMMETT MOST SUCCESSFUL

The first Sheffield Shield match of the season was continued on Saturday in fine weather on a good wicket, South Australia having been^all out on Friday, for 170. In the' second innings the home side has two wickets down- for 114 (Gunn 67, Walsh 24, Pritchard 17 not out). Gunn batted in great style. "Victoria, in the first innings, made 275 (Ryder S3, Hendry 34, Love 63, Liddicutt 62 not' out). Grimmett took five wickets for 95 and Scott three for 105. The Victorians looked like making a big score, but with the exception of the more experienced batsmen they, found Grimmett's bosies most destructive, and he made short work of them.
