STELLA MURRAY.
Miss Stella Murray, the New Zealand contralto, is to give a recital next Thursday in the Town ( Hall, prior to ber departure for London, where>he is to continue her concert career. .Miss Murray is on a tour of the principal towns of the Dominion, and everywhere her concerts were highly successful. Her fine voice, rich in quality and. perfectly true in tone, has been the subject of universal admiration. There is no doubt that she is an extremely accomplished: and versatile artist, and her capacity'for interpretation is not bound by any'narrow limits. She is equally at home in the dramatic compositions a3 in the simpler songs, which■;" every audience likes to hear between the larger numbers. The ; concert should, make a wide appeal to Miss Murray's admirers among local music, lovers.' She will be supported on this occasion by Mr. Harold Whittle, an accomplished pianist and accompanist. The box plan will .open at The Bristol on Monday morning at 9 o'clock. :
