RESOLUTION.
In exercise. of the powers conferred on it by Sections 23, 58, and 59 of the "Counties Act, 1920," the Hutt County Council resolves, by way of Special Order, as follows:— 1 The present division of the County of Hutt into five Ridings be revoked, and in lieu thereof the naid County shall be divided into seven Ridings to be called respectively Epuni, Heretaungn, Horokiivi, Mungaroa, Taupo, Wainuioniata, and What'eroa, which said Ridings die 1 respectively decribed in the schedule hereto. 2. The said Hutt County Council shall consist of seven Members, who shall be elected as follow: — Tho Electors of Epuni, Heretaunga, Hoi'okiwi, Mungaroa, Taupo, Wainuiomata, and Wharcroa shall each elect ono Councillor. 3. The alteration hereby made shall not come into full force until the Genefal Election of the Council on the 12th of May, 1926, except in so far and to such extent as may be necessary for preparing any Roll or otherwise. providing for such Election. SCHEDULE. Here follow the description of the boundaries of the above-mentioned Ridings. A full copy of this, Special Order is deposited at the County Offices, 68, Lambton quay, Wellington, and will be open to the inspection of the public during 'office hours-until the 7th December, 1025.
