TO TOUR DOMINION NEXT
SEASON.
Members of the council of the New Zealand Football Association attended a special meeting last evening to discuss the proposed tour of New Zealand by a South African team. Mr. A. N Varney presided. It was explained that the proposal was that the South-African team should $our New Zealand in June and July of next year,: and it was estimated that the expenses of seventeen players would amount to £5357 for fifty-five days. The team would leave South Africa about 10th May and arrive in New Zealand about 15th June. Thirteen games would be played in New Zealand. It was decided to approve of the tour, ;ind to communicate with tlie South African Association to that effect. Guarantees will bo sought from the various New Zealand Associations.
