LONDON TALLOW MARKET.
The Bank o£ New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London 'office, under date 4th November:— "Tallow: There is a fair demand, with prices generally (id per cwt lower."
Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their Lohdou house, under date of the 4th November:—"Tallow: 1225 casks of tallow offered; 535 sold. Tine beef neglected; fine -mutton and mixed, good colour, Cd pcl 1 cwt lower. Other descriptions unchanged."
The. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, td.,-has received the following cablegram from its London house, under date 4th November:—"Tallow: We quote c.i.f. and c. for the following descriptions: Fine mutton, 47s Cd per cwt; good beef, 4Cs per cwt; mixed, 42s Od per cwt. Our quotations are more or less nominal."
