DE LUXE THEATRE.
"Quo Vadis?" is now screening finally this evening at the Do Luxe Theatre. The picture is preceded by a prologue which ia capitally acted by Messrs. Norman Aitken (Nero), Sydney Tingey (Marcus), and Lionel Inch (Tigellinus). Tho incidental music is by the Do Luxe orchestra, under Mr. L. D. Austin. I "THE GOLDEN BED." v A splendid new attraction, with "novelty" written large all over it, will be screened at the De Luxe Theatro to-morrow. "The Golden Bed" is a story of Adniah Holtz, risen in fortune, who is infatuated with Flora Lee Peake, alluring beauty, and hope of a family which is decaying because of its preference for a great name rather than useful toil. Margaret Peake, equally arrogant, at first learns the emptiness of unearned wealth and high social position,, and works for the regeneration of Admah, after the young fellow is brought to ruin by a sister who accepts luxury from her husband, whilo sneering and flirting behind his back. The master director, Cecil de Mille, startles more than ever with this lavish production of gorgeous gowns, with a story told in an atmosphere of beautiful women. In this picture is promised the eye-filling spectacle of a novelty ball, a dazzling millionaire society wedding, thrilling and beautiful scenes in the snow-topped Alps, the golden bed itself aroxind which revolves the story of the luxury-drunk society siren, j who attracts many lovers and changes many lives. A big supporting programme is also being arranged, with a special musical programme by the Orchestra De Luxe. A matinee will bo held on Saturday at 2.30. The box plans are now open at The Bristol, Aitken's Book Arcade, or ring the theatre.
