NEW YORK, 3rd November
A Democratic .victory in to-day's city elections is indioated in the returns of the elections throughout the United States, so far as they are available tonight. Senator James J. Walker is leading his Republican opponent, Frank Waterman, by more than 140,000 votes from half the polling divisions in the Greater City for the Mayoralty. All the Democratic candidates for presidents of five boroughs, president of the Board of Aldermen, and Comptroller, are leading their Republican opponents by a margin approximately the same as Senator Walker's.
