LONDON, 3rd November.

The disaster at Dolgarrog was preluded by terrifi'j explosions which caused the bursting of the banks, and a sea of water Swept through the, gorge, while a thousand feet waterfall torrent caught maiiy unawares, engulfing houses, drowning their, occupants, and sweeping their furniture into the River Conway, a mile away, from whence they were carried to ■sea. Ten bodies have been,recovered end twenty are still missing. , .
