UNLOADING PHOSPHATES.

One of the demands, of the watersiders in regard to the unloading of phosphates from the Wonganella is a proposal that an independent chairman be elected to preside over the meeting of the Local Disputes Committee. The watersiders proposed that the-Rev. J. K. Archer or Mr. J. M'Combs should act, but tlie employers opposed the suggestion, and for that reason a deadlock occurred yesterday.
