POSED AS A DETECTIVE

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Arthur M'Keever, charged with being a rogue and a vagabond, was sentenced to a month's gaol by the Magistrate this morning. Evidence was given that accused, by posing as a detective, obtained thirty shillings from a man in an hotel.
