The Homebush sale yards reflect the drought conditions. Sheep arc being crowded to the market to the full carrying capacity of tho railways. All the available trucks are booked for weeks ahead. This particularly applies to the North and North-western grazing areas. Many thousands of sheep and cattlo have also been moved to more favoured districts. Boports from the southern districts aro more cheerful, but tho wheat has reached a critical stage, and without rain shortly will be in a bad way.
