(BI .TELEatUPH,—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRIST CHURCH, 28th Oct. The sale at Addington to-day was a good one, fat cattle and store sheep meeting with an improved sale, whilst fat sheep were firm. '
Store Sheep.—Mostly ewes and lambs were forward, and those sold at an improvement, as did other classes in this section. Good ewes and lambs made from 24s to 26s lid; medium ewes and lambs, 21s to 23s 6cl; forward wethers, 37s Cd to 40s; medium wethers, 36s to 37s 3d; good halfbred ewe hoggets, 40s to 42s 6<l; medium halfbred ewes, 36s 3d to 38s; mixed sex halfbred hoggets, 32s lOd; shorn hoggets, 22s lOd to 24s sd.
Spring Lambs. —7s were entered, and they ranged from 27s 2d to 45s 6d, the market being spirited throughout. .
I'afc Sheep.—Except for small lots from Blenheim and South Otago, the market ; was of Canterbury origin. A rather irregular sale, but values were fully up to last week. Extra prime wethers made from C7s to 59s 4d; prime wethers, 48s Od to Css; medium wethers, 44s (id to 47s Gd; Jight wctheijs, 41s to 445; extra prime ewes, 1o 50sj Id; prime ewes, 4,1 a (5d to 44s 6(1; jnfedtum ewes, 38s to 41s; light ewes, 34s 30d to .'!7s Od; prime shorn wethers, 40s to 44s -Id; medium shorn wethers, 35s to 38a <xl; 'light shorn wethers, 2!ls lOd to 345.
Eat. Cattle.—'Die entry numbered ".(JO head, and there was <i. firming in values of from 20s to 25s per head. Extra prime beef made up to 62s per 1001b, prime 55s (id to 58s (3d, prime heavy-weight C2s Od to 60s, medium quality -18s to 51s, light and inferior 43s to 40s Cd, and-rough down "to 30s. Extra prime heavy-weight steers made from £i>6 to £28 7s Gd: prime heavy steers, £22 10s to £25 10s; medium-weight steers, £1S 5s £2.1 l,Us; light steers, £15 to £18; rough steers, £11 10s to £14 10s, extra prime heifers, up to £19 7s Oil; prime heifers, £14 to £17 ss; ordinary heifers,- £10 10s to £13 10s; light heifers, £8 to £10 ss; extra prime 00—3, up to £11) 2s lid; prime cows, £:IM lUs ti> £.16 15s; ordinary cows, £10 5s to £1",; light cows, £8 17s lid to ,U10; rough cows, £ij to £S ss.
