QUALITY OF NEW ZEALAND BUTTER.
"Messrs. Weddel and Co., London, in their annual review, state:—"On tho whole, the quality of the general run of New Zealand butter showed little' or. no improvement, over that of recent seasons, the more extended adoption of the practice of home separation of tho cream probably accounting for the larger proportion of second grade butter shipped by some of the factories. In Australian butter, however, a marked advance in quality was noticeable."
