LYALL BAY TENNIS CLUB

A "i'nnkee" tournament was run by the Lyall Lay Tennis Club last weekend in the form of handicap combined doubles for a trophy donated by the president, Mr. P. ifyams. Owfm; to large entries it was necessary to divide players into sections. The following is the result of the play-off:—Mrs. (Tray and Mr. By tig (owe '.12) defeated Mrs. Bum and Mr. Diaper (owe 20), 30-27; Miss Whisker and Mr. Clark (owe 22) defeated Mrs. Gray and Mr. T'.yiic (owe 12), 30-26. Final: Miss Whisker and Mr. Clark defeated Mrs. Burn and Mr Diaper, 30-27.
