DEPORTATION BOARD
CASE AGAINST JOHNSON,
(Received 29th October, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Deportation Board sat to- hear the case of Jacob Johnson. Mr. Watt, counsel for Walsh, appealed for an adjournment till the finding in the Walsh case was known. The chairman, in refusing, said they had finished with Walsh, and could not disclose tho finding. There was no intention of proventing Walsh testing the validity of the proceedings of the Court. Mr. Watt then withdrew. Mr. Meagher, counsel for Johnson, appealed for an adjournment till the Federal elections were over. The Court refused, but granted an adjournment till Monday.
