EMPRESS THEATRE.
' The final screenings of "The Early Bird" and "Up and At 'Em" takes place at (lie Empress Tlicalro to-night. This comedy programme, with Johnny llines starred in tin; first feature, and Doris May in the second, has been packing the Empress Theatre all the week. The programme for release to-morrow is headed 1 by "Thundering Hoofs," and stars Fred. Thomson and Silver King, his wonder horse. Tackling a full-sized Spanish bull bare-hamled; after the-ani-mal hod been maddened into white-hot fury'by-the-barbs of the picadors and matadors, is no child's play, but Fred. Thomson actually does it, and comes out victorious.-.The second feature is "TheBeloved Cheater," with Lew Cody at me head of a fine cast. The Beloved Chea-' ter, as he is called.; is the idol of the fair sex, and,, different from most of that type, popular among his men friends. There is a good supporting programme, which includes comedy, gazette, and Urban Chat. :
