"THE FIRE PRINCE."
"The Fire Prince," an entirely new comic operetta, will bo presented at the Grand Opera House on Saturday and Monday, 7th and 9th November, by Mrs. Albert Russall. and her class of fifty clever ■Wellington amateurs, for the first time '.in New Zealand. Mrs. Russell's ckiss has been in rehearsal during the winter months, and the" 1 opera, which is clever, witty, musical, and merry, will be looked forward, to, for Wellington is proud of its -amateurs, and the producer's work is well known in many parts of Now Zealand. , She has produced for amateur operatic societies at Napier, Palmcrston North, Blenheim, Gisborue, and other towns. Miss Esfcl'la. Becro is helping with bullets from her school of dancing,--and will include an exhibition tango by Miss Joan Beere and Mr. Jack '.Morris. Mr. David Uevilt has arranged 'dances for the musical numbers. Mr. "Ktilm has charge, of a professional orchestra, and a. splendid evening's enjoyment h anfieiapted. Tho proceeds will be handed to the Phinkct Karilano A'p-po.-il Fund. The box plan is at The Bristol. There will bo a matinee on the Saturday afternoon.
