z " HIS SUPREME MOMENT."

Colour photography is the latest addition to the resources which the scenarist has recourse to in'constructing the modern motion picture drama. Colour photography in the past tins been restricted to decorative uses. It has been used to add lo the pictorial beauty, but it remained for George Fitzmaurice to turn .the art into dramatic element in "His Supreme Moment," the, new Goldwynintzmaiirice.production which First National'will offer at the Paramount Theatre, beginning to-morrow. In this adaptation by Frances Marion of a, new' novel hy May Edinglon, colour photography is used for the first time to differciitinl.e between two divisions of the story. A play within a. play is filmed as part of the drama. The producers have not only added to the pictorial beauty of the picture but have sharply emphasised the difference between the pictured stage play and the main colour of - tho story by photographing all of the stnje sequences in full colour by tho 'improved Ttchnicolour Process. Blanche Sweet and Ronald Colman are featured in a tensely dramatic situation of two women in love with the Fame man. 'Die scenes are laid in New York and South America.
