DUNEDIN, This Day
A. consignment of thoroughbred racehorses reached Port Chalmers by the Te Koa from England. The horses, numbering eleven, are from tho famous Leybourno stu,d, Kent., and are consigned to Lyttelton. They are to be sold by auction iu Christchurch during New Zealand Cup week. Tho horses, stood the long voyage well, although the ship experienced several days' rough weather.
